The 3rd annual LAM Treatment Alliance Poker Run is scheduled for August 16th, 2009. Cars, Trucks, Mini Vans and Motorcycles are welcome. Sign up starts at noon and the ride leaves at 1:00 from a new location - Rockets on Shadeland Ave. (Eastside). It’s $20 per rider and $30 per couple with all proceeds benefiting LAM Treatment Alliance. There will also be a live auction, raffle, 50/50 and BBQ dinner. The best poker hand wins $100! We really appreciate your support and hope you can join us. Let me know if you have any questions.

Congratulations to our Indiana Chapter and their successful 2nd Annual LAM at the Links Golf Fundraiser which took place on June 6th, 2009. The event raised more than $16,000 which will be used for vital research to find a cure in time for women living with LAM today. Your fundraising support at this level enables the LAM Treatment Alliance to immediately and fully fund initiatives such as $10,000 quick turnaround pilot projects, our globally accessible blood bank for this year, LAM tissue shipments to researchers who can make key breakthroughs, scans associated with drug trials and more. Every dollar enables us to focus more on driving groundbreaking science and increases the likelihood that our efforts will have impact more quickly! We need you and we are so grateful. Thanks to your support of our fast-tracking efforts, the LAM landscape is changing, and together, we are making medical history. Onward!

LAMJAM 2007 was successful because of the tremendous response from the public. The house was packed and the dancing, auction, food and good time was for a such an important cause! Enjoy some of the photographs from this lovely evening in Indiana last year!

We appreciate each and every one of you who participated in the Argosy Casino bus trip February 9, 2008. Thanks to your generous donations, we raised over $3500! This is another way that the Indiana chapter of the LTA has been able to contribute critical funds to research focused on identifying a promising combination of drugs that could slow or stop LAM!!
