Securities and Stock Donations

The LAM Treatment Alliance welcomes contributions of appreciated securities, such as stocks, bonds and mutual fund shares. To learn more, email donations@LAMTreatmentAlliance.org.

Matching Gifts: Double or even triple your gift!

Many employers sponsor a matching gift program that can effectively double – or even triple – an employee's contribution of cash or securities. Ask your Human Resources Office whether your employer has such a program; if so, please send a matching gift form to the LAM Treatment Alliance (For recognition purposes, you will receive credit for the total donation.) Corporations, partnerships and other entities that make gifts to the LAM Treatment Alliance may take a deduction for their contribution. If you own a closely held business, you may benefit by having the business make gifts directly to the LAM Treatment Alliance rather than making them personally. Bequests

If you plan to make a charitable gift by will, please think it through carefully. Then, meet with your attorney to discuss and update your will. Tell him or her exactly what you want to do. Be as clear as possible in describing what you want given to whom. We hope you'll tell us when you have named the LAM Treatment Alliance in your will. We would very much like the opportunity to thank you for your generosity. If you prefer to remain anonymous, your gift will be kept completely confidential. But at the same time, recognition of your gift can encourage others to do the same. Whatever the case, we will honor your wishes, because we appreciate your support immensely. Tributes

You can honor a family member or friend, mark a special occasion, remember a loved one or thank a dedicated caregiver with a tribute gift. If you wish, the LAM Treatment Alliance will convey your warm wishes by mail to the person(s) you choose. Your gift will be used to meet the LAM Treatment Alliance's most pressing needs, or you may direct your support to the program of your choice. Names of those honored are listed in the annual Honor Roll of Donors.
